My name is Sandy Raymond and I'm an Associate Professor of English at Northern Arizona University, a writer, storyteller, blogger, and mother to a 4-year-old and an eleven-month-old. I also blog at http://sandyraymond.com.

Before teaching at NAU I taught middle school Language Arts at Mount Elden Middle School, and before that I taught college composition.
Writing:
I am currently contracted to write Seven Ways to Bring New Media into the Language Arts Classroom for Stenhouse Publishers.
I'm also working on a novel called Fool's Children, an urban fantasy that takes place in the American Southwest.
I am author of the play Pork Belly Futures, winner of the 2008 Northern Arizona Playwriting Showcase)
